Clean Air Network uses road bicycle racing, known as the “Tour of Uganda,” as a platform to advocate for clean air policies. These events raise public awareness about air pollution and promote cycling as a sustainable, non-polluting mode of transportation.

Through these races, the network engages policymakers, communities, and businesses in discussions on reducing emissions and improving air quality. The visibility of the event helps drive support for clean air policy reforms while inspiring action toward a healthier environment.

Clean Air Network promotes Clean Energy Business Initiatives by supporting the use of biogas systems that convert waste into clean energy. These systems provide a sustainable alternative to traditional fuels like charcoal and firewood, reducing indoor air pollution.

Since women and children are most affected by smoke from cooking, biogas solutions improve their health and quality of life. By offering training and resources, Clean Air Network empowers communities to adopt biogas, creating cleaner homes and fostering local clean energy businesses.

Expanding Education Impact-This initiative helps students become clean air champions, inspiring them to share their knowledge with others and spread awareness about clean air. Their contributions can also be included in their personal portfolios to showcase their skills and gain recognition.

We will work with more schools and NGOs to give students chances to share their clean air knowledge and present their work to new audiences. Additionally, an online platform will be created to share educational materials with a wider audience.
